HI Carolyn:
We have a very nice full enclosure both for our flybridge and our cockpit. We love them both as they make both spaces very useable in any weather. I can try to get some photos for you.
Canvas Supply in Seattle made it for us. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are excellent. Not fast. Not cheap. But excellent.
In answer to your specific question about the aft end of the flybridge, we have two full-height sliding panels that are 3/4 window--a bit of canvas at the bottom. They slide on a plastic track at the top that works very well and the slide overlaps both sliding sections. we have a screen that goes in place of one of the sliding panels for ventilation. We also have screens for the two large windows on the side of the flybridge that can lift up an strap to the underside of the hardtop, so we can leave them completely open or put screens in their place.
We liked it so much that after about 14 years of owning the first set of canvas, it was getting a bit faded and the windows had some scratches and dull areas, so we had Canvas Supply make a full second set. Now we put the old/original canvas on in the winter time, when it takes the most beating with being wet a lot. Just before the spring Rendezvous, we take down the "winter" (old) canvas and put up the new stuff, so we get to enjoy nice new clear windows through the spring and summer seasons.
Our canvas has the much heavier semi-rigid windows. Canvas Supply calls it "EZ2CY", but I suspect it's pretty generic material. The heavier material does not roll up, but the windows are clearer and don't get the distortion of the lighter weight plastics that don't tend to stay nearly as flat with time.
You can see some photos of the canvas in our Summer 2025 cruising gallery on the owner's site.
