Twin disc Transmission oil pressure

Hi!


Anyone know what pressure a twin disc MG5082 should be operating at while at idle? Just changed my oil and strainer and it’s running around 50psi. Seems low but I don’t remember what it’s usually at.

Is not the Min oil pressure shown on your data plate?

23 bar max on the plate but doesn’t say min.  I’m guessing I need to get it in gear to check - neutral could be super low.

Hi Ryan,

My Twin Disc 5050SC has a min pressure at rated rpm of 295psi. This is shown on the data plate. Rated rpm is approximately 75% throttle. There isn't a value for idle pressure.

Thanks Andy!  ChatGPT just confirmed that pressure at neutral should be near zero.
